I can see raising the price of game pas.s but raising the price of the console after it's been out a while just seems strange.

I remember when consoles got cheaper after a few years and not more expensive.
PS5 did the same a while ago due to increased component costs.

I've done that 2 months ago, still got 34 months GPU left.
Lately I’ve felt that the higher tiers of PS+ have more value since I very rarely use Xbox game streaming, but a $2 raise isn’t bad considering how great the value has been for how many years
What I really want though is a family plan so I can split the cost of a subscription with friends and family (my Nintendo switch online plan has 8 people on it which made the expansion pass way more palatable since it’s only $10 per person per year)
I guess that's $2 for Ultimate though. If you're paying for it, that's the tier to get.
Will my years of prepaid gamepass (converted gold) be affected?
