I'm a Feeeerrrd guy (my family's historically driven 'em, from the Galaxie to the Mustang, of which I own after a Focus ST and a Fusion) and lets be real half the trucks you sell will never see anything other than jet black asphalt, and carry no more than twenty pounds of groceries, or a lawn chair

I think your estimate of half is a bit on the low side. So many office parking lots filled with shinny trucks.

Tesla REALLY dropped the ball on the cyber truck. They had the hype (positive or negative) when it was unveiled and could have made a killing by releasing it on time. But allowing Ford and others to release EV pickups may have already doomed it.
