Checo memes aside, i am really surprised by verstrappen, I had a feeling it would be way less. Has there been less overtakes this season?

He started 15th in Saudi and finished 2nd. And started 9th in Miami and won. Sprinkle in a few other times were he has ended up behind someone after a pit stop and then made a pass and the total gets up there.
All I can think of is that Lollipopman joke where Checo says Max needs to up his overtaking game or Helmut will be coming for him.
Don't think anyone on this list is really impressive. Verstappen, Checo and Russell drive good cars that can easily overtake, same with Stroll, and Tsunoda and Sargeant I assume benefited a lot from cars ahead retiring.
I remember when Vettel and Alonso had a nice battle in midfield cars two seasons ago.
