Well, I guess it would depend on the amount of blood-drinking population, but on the assumption they're the majority...

Eventually. Probably actually start off with the elitism, with small-batch releases of "synth blood", then work its way into mass production, and then back to high end "blood brewers" trying new and fancy things to push against the mass market.
