Please upgrade to Windows 11 to continue displaying a single app in fullscreen

Like, what was wrong with he old digital readouts? They’ve successfully warned us of traffic issues and alerts for…a long time. Since the 90s, if not the 80s. “New” doesn’t mean better.

Nobody was getting rich or getting promotions from their continued use.

What. Are they putting ads on those bright blinding fuckin signs?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 months ago

Maybe? But what I meant is that someone's uncle is going to get a fat order for the new screens from the government, and then their cousin is going to get the contract to do all of the installation work. Then the politician will brag during their next campaign about how they installed all new signs improving the roadway.

Barney Stinson doesn't agree. New is always better.

I'm disappointed. Go and watch "How I met your mother"

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Eh…

My ex liked that show. I don’t think it was for me, really. To each their own, though. Glad you enjoy it

It should be called 6 years worth of stories of how I didn't meet your mother.

Windows for critical infrastructure doesn't seem smart.
