Like, what was wrong with he old digital readouts? They’ve successfully warned us of traffic issues and alerts for…a long time. Since the 90s, if not the 80s. “New” doesn’t mean better.

What. Are they putting ads on those bright blinding fuckin signs?
Maybe? But what I meant is that someone's uncle is going to get a fat order for the new screens from the government, and then their cousin is going to get the contract to do all of the installation work. Then the politician will brag during their next campaign about how they installed all new signs improving the roadway.
