I havn't had the time to test it out myself (yet), but so far this looks promising. There are still some issues, but I assume they will be sorted out eventually.

Do you think rclone doesn't work on Linux or is this about Linux users not finding love in general?

Yep, I was referring to Linux users not finding love in general. I hope Proton would work on Cryptomator soon. I mainly use Linux for data archiving and storage, mainly because I work in the design field.

Are you talking about Google drive not having a Linux client?

I am researching Duplicati for backup purposes. I guess now with proton rclone support, that would apply to duplicati as well. That would be great as I only have iCloud and proton drive as cloud storage solutions.
