Dunno what your budget is, but i have the CoolerMaster V650 SFX (v2), and it's very quiet. Looks like it might be cheaper than the Lian Li one, too.

on my market prices look like this:

  • Fortron Dagger Pro 650W ~ 120€
  • Lian Li SP750 SFX 750W ~ 130€
  • Cooler Master V750 SFX Gold 750W ~ 160€

650W variant when it's available, costs more than 750W one, on the bright side 850W ones aren't that expensive comparing to 750W;-)

That's really interesting, because Cooler Master is based in the UK (which I'm assuming you are somewhat near, since your market uses Euros), so I would expect prices to be similar or a little lower.

yeah, looking at prices in newegg UK and US Lian Li is indeed more expensive than both CM V750 SFX and FSP Dagger which have similar prices

If it is noisy, make sure to return/RMA it. The first version in that family had a problematic fan curve, so Cooler Master updated it to improve sonic performance (had something to do with setting the fan stop too soon, iirc).

Yeah, I've researched the subject before delivery, fortunately I've got a post revision version with a temp based fan curve, previous one had fan starting at 15% load making it start to fairly warm insides to chill, so it started a bit harsh

Then sounds like you're on it. I hope you like it! My only complaint is the cable plastic is a bit stiff, but zip ties can sort it out.

Everything's ok, cables aren't that stiff, certainly on par with cheap thermaltake cables my previous semi-modular ATX PSU had, full modularity and shorter cables are an absolute upgrade, plus more room inside my case
