I've ordered a bunch this year. Some stuff I've gotten that I like:

  • Carbon bottle cages
  • Top tube bags
  • Hand pumps. I ordered 2, one of them worked.. but still significantly cheaper than a brand-name one. Also got a handheld pressure gauge for checking the pressure after pumping on the road
  • Glasses—Maybe dangerous in a crash.

Some stuff I'm waiting on:

  • Cycling computer (iGPSport BSC200). Wanted super basic functionality and am expecting it to be crap. Just a bit concerned with the data handling in terms of privacy.
  • Velocity, cadence, HR sensors. WAY cheaper than from Garmin/Wahoo, we'll see if they work well.

What are your favorites? Or just cheap accessories in general?

Before I was into cycling, I purchased the Nitecore BR25 bike light and Drift Ghost X bike camera from Aliexpress through the respective official brand stores.

That was something like four years ago, and I'm still using those items today (on my bike).

I did buy disk brake pads from Ali for my e-scooter, which I'd probably do again if I get a bike with disk brakes.

Other stuff I own that could be purchased from Aliexpress include several Rockbros items.

I got a bell, a front light and a back light. Not expensive at all, and exactly the style I wanted.

Front/rear lights I always find a bit concerning because the claims on brightness often isn't true so you don't know what you'll get. But also man, are lights expensive sometimes.

I got a hundred Star Trek stickers for three bucks. I also got a 50 pack of rock bands (AC/DC, Led Zep, Green Day) 50 pack of plants, and a 45 pack (weird number, I know) of small really cute black cat stickers. AliExpress's sticker game is strong, I highly recommend doing a sticker search if you are into stickers.

Always been intrigued by this because apparently stickerbombing reduces chance of theft. But I can't imagine doing that to my bike, I love the clean aesthetic.

Some clothing and TPU tubes. Haven't tried them out yet, but I suspect it will be fine.

On the cycling computer front, I'd like to but I'm not sure if any of them support something like the Garmin Varia radar, which would be one of my motivations for it.

Jerseys and gilets from Spexcel

Bibs from YKYWBIKE

Ride Now TPU tubes are bomb proof

Radar Tail Light and heart rate monitor from Magene (although I haven't tried the Garmin ones)

OG-Evkin Drop Bars

Things I wouldn't recommend

Glasses from Kapvoe (shit quality and risky in a crash)

OG-Evkin seat post (quality is good, but the way the seat attaches is prone to seize and difficult to adjust)
