A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

We don't really know anything about life in the universe. As for life in our galaxy, its entirely plausible that we are early.
We're actually quite early into the age of the universe.its possible that every civilization is at similar technology levels currently.
So what you are saying is Great Filters exist and we are doomed no matter what we do?
