I would LOVE to use something like this, that can streamline the process. Super cool!
This might be one of the best concepts using Jellyfin that I've seen to date. From a UX standpoint, it would pass the infamous family/wife test for sure. Insanely nice work.
Looks great, what OS do you plan to support?
Right now its web based, but I would love to implement mobile and smart tv since those are the main ways I consume content
Great idea ! I encourage you to pursue this brilliant project.
I think someone as already done something similar : https://github.com/itsToggle/plex_debrid.
yeah but that appears to be using Plex which isn't open source.
You can choose to use Jellyfin too.
Stupid question but can I skip the debrid part and just use the watchlist/overseer/download part? Would be cool for users to request stuff like that
I don't think it was possible when I tested it but dev was quite active so it may be possible now.
Woah thanks for this. It's something I had been needing and had no idea it existed!
Really love the UI and how clean it looks. But I fail to see how this would differ from Plex with Overseerr with the auto request bookmarked or just using Stremio. Either way, an alternative Jellyfin client would be lovely since that's the primary reason I had to move to Plex.
Yup. I'd definitely use this. Do you plan on making a git for your work? Maybe some of us would pitch in to help.
That's great to hear. I'll definitely make it open source once the app is somewhat usable
That's awesome. I was just looking for an add-on or something that would connect them.
This looks sick
I remember seeing a design concept for a new jellyfin client on reddit a couple of months ago with a netflix-like UI, was that you? I found it really cool back there and then never heard of it anymore
I’d be very interested in this, having a single binary for everything would simplify getting into an *arr setup so much
