Good point about the connectivity check.

Maybe if it's less than 1MB per hour it counts as nominal usage.

I don't qualify for any of their home internet plans 🫤 but that page linked go this option that I'm definitely gonna check out!

If that works, you may want to try it anyway. A lot of times I tell people just to give them another address in town or something that does qualify and then take it home and use it anyway. I did that for over a year and it was fine.Of course, you've got to physically pick it up in the store and not have them ship it to you, but such a small inconvenience for such gain if it works well.
