Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Beta versions don't go through the same checking process and delays. We could get the updates instantly.

You can also get F-Droid or Droid-ify for this. Play store beta would be nice though.

Obtainium is an option as well, you can grab it directly from github or through F-Droid automatically

How are updates normally pushed, when the Google Play store was the initial point of installation?

I ask because I installed on Jerboa May 25 from the Play store, before the the 0.0.34 update. 7 days ago (Jun 14) that update was automatically installed without my knowledge, or any notice.

I'm fine with its automatic update, I wouldn't have known of it otherwise (although a notification would've been appreciated, unless I simply missed seeing it), so I'm just wondering if there's a setting I've got different from you, if you're not getting auto-updated?
