Today I tried to download Mlem, and got TestFlight, and clicked the invite link. However I then realized I couldn’t use it because I have an old phone which doesn’t support the latest iOS version. I feel like this is a dumb request, but could there possibly be a release in the future for iOS 15?

as a workaround you can go to safari open your Lemmy page and tap the upper arrow button on the center -> add to home screen.

I would suggest that you look into using the Progressive Web App version of using beehaw. While Mlem continues its active development, I’ve been enjoying using the PWA version via the following steps:

  • Navigate to your instance front page in the Safari app
  • Under the URL bar click the share button and then press Add to Home Screen and use this icon as your “app” to use Lemmy.
