Mohair shawl (discuss.tchncs.de)

This started out as Anna Dalvi's Anubis but three quarters throgh I gave up on counting the mess and finished it off with knit one, make a hole. It still looked good, but I found I am not a mohair person and gifted it to a friend. She is very happy with it.

I think we all have to try mohair at least once, even if a significant number of us end up detesting it. I'm absolutely with you on that, but it doesn't stop me enjoying how beautifully fuzzy and delicate it looks.

Beautiful shawl! I'm glad it found a happy home, and that you have such knitworthy friends!

That’s so pretty! Is there a pattern for this somewhere?

The pattern I started with was Anna Dalvis Anubis. I have it in print, "Ancient Egypt in Lace and Color.

But you might also get it online on her Website or Ravelry.

Just be cautious, I am not a very patient knitter. After some time, I just went on with knit one, yarn over till I ran out of yarn.
