  • Gemini in Google Messages is rolling out to beta testers gradually starting this week.
  • You can use Gemini in Google Messages just like the standalone Gemini app, except without image generation.

If they stick this at the top of my messages list like Snapchat does with their shit AI thing, I'm leaving.

I already left the Messages app after the Shortcut Bar annoyance. This would have been another death knell to me that the app is past its prime.
