v86 Thumbnail Loading Error & No Content after modifying settings/preferences. (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Bug report (v86):

  • ~~Many thumbnails both pictures and site previews are showing error symbols. It looks to also include profile picture and sub/community icons/pictures.~~

  • ~~When modifying any settings Frontpage, Local, Subscribed no longer display content.~~

  • ~~Unable to reply to comments, pressing the reply icon does nothing.~~

  • ~~After posting this, it looks like image upload is also not working.~~

Edit** After trying another instance. It looks like the image upload issue and image errors are related to the instance I'm on.

After updating my app, I'm on v87. Setting configuration is now working.

Hmm.. your avatar image doesn't load, but it's the only one I've been able to find where that's the case. Wonder what's up...

I also haven't run into any broken thumbnails (in card view, at least)

Also, that blank post feed seemed to be fixed for me on 86, after being broken for the last few betas.

It looks like the image upload and image thumbnail issue is related to the instance I use.

Ps. How do you post an image inside of a comment. Like make it actually display?

..which uploads the picture, and autoformats the text in your comment to display it.

Replying seems to work now.

Maybe it is an issue with the instance I'm signed into?
