Golden Age of Piracy

Just curious but what kind of Piracy? Pirate Piracy or movie/music/game/etc Piracy? Whatever it is I'm interested.

iirc, the Golden Age of Piracy refers to the period when pirates had a lot of "business" opportunities in the Caribbean, both because the European powers didn't have enough control yet and because they thought it was a good idea to hire many of those pirates to attack their geopolitical enemies.

But it could also be a One Piece reference.

My first assumption was related to pirating media. Then One Piece. Never considered it was actually about the actual historical era.
