A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Yeah, was kinda my take too.
You have freedom to backtrack, but there's little reason to do so, so it plays kinda linearly.
And there's little to "stumble upon" outside the cities.
The perks are almost all of the "slightly tweak one stat" variety, so there's not a lot of excitement there.
Aside from the "science weapons", which have some unique characteristics, the weapons you get tend to have pretty much forgettable characteristics, too, including the uniques. You're not getting Ratslayer or the like.
It's got a lot of similar elements to the Fallout series, but it didn't click for me the same way.
Was pretty bug-free, though.
