Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

Of all the exemptions, locations in airports? Where they charge you $30 for a meal just because? Unreal...
There were more on the list
Restaurants connected to or operating in conjunction with the following locations are also not covered by the law:
An airport;
A hotel;
An event center that is over 20,000 square feet or has more than 1,000 seats (for example, a sports stadium concert hall, or racetrack);
A theme park;
A museum; or A gambling establishment (for example, a card room)
Full exemption list is under question 11 https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/Fast-Food-Minimum-Wage-FAQ.htm
Well you see, the reason you're paying $7 for coffee is because each cup had to go through security theater and ensure it's not bomb water or something.
