I got given some coffee (I think this one?) and it was great! I ended up drinking the whole bag in a few days... I drank it black and loved every minute of it.
Now I've gotta drink the one I have and it's just not the same 🫤
Ooh Im a big fan of Ark. I used to live right in front of them, so they had become my main source of beens at that time. I've since started trying out more roasters, but have always been meaning to go back to them.
It's been a while since I've had coffee that I've loved like that!
Now I'm back to the bag I had before, the wine barrel aged one. It's past it's prime but I'm not getting through it because I just don't like it that much 🙁. I like trying out interesting things but should have got a smaller bag.
I don't even like wine. It reminds me of the time I ordered a coconut hot chocolate because someone told me it was the best hot chocolate they had ever had, then when it arrived I tasted it and remembered I don't actually like coconut.
Oh yeah, I remember that wine coffee. 😄
I'm the same sometimes. Not necessarily on coffee, but I get fixated on wanting to try something new, and sometimes it just doesn't work out lol.
That’s an interesting find, thanks for letting us know. I’d not heard of Ark Coffee before. Looks a bit pricey for my pocket, otherwise I’d have given them a try.
Now you mention it, it is pretty pricey! Was good though. But it was a gift so I didn't pay!
I like trying new coffee, and am currently a Hummingbird fan. Have tried all their varieties, except the caffeine free, and liked them all. Not overly roasted so they give a smoother taste to me.
The Ark one I tried was definitely a lighter roast. I also like trying coffee, but currently I'm trying to work my way through the old coffee bag I didn't like. 1KG was too much for an unusual coffe I hadn't tried. Currently having to more than double the beans because it's old and lost it's strength, so hopefully will get through it pretty fast!
