The number of out athletes competing has more than doubled since the 2019 Women’s World Cup. The total number of LGBTQ athletes in each competition is likely higher, because some players might not feel comfortable coming out publicly.

Well, the article says "starts later this month" right in the first sentence. If you are interested in that cup at all and did not know the date yet, you are now aware that you should look it up within the next days in case you don't learn it somewhere else coincidentally,
