The series is definitely great, give it a shot if you're into Sci-Fi.
I've read and enjoyed the first book, but I didn't realize the series apparently covers all 3, so now I gotta get through the rest before I jump in. Definitely looking forward to it, though.
If you are referring to the Netflix series, it doesn't. That's only covering the first book. There is a Chinese series though (30 episodes) that might; I haven't watched it.
Hold up... Have I been deceived? >.> Thanks for letting me know! In that case, I'll absolutely be watching it.
Part of the plot is from the third book:
Tap for spoiler
The part where they send that guys brain into spaceThe Netflix show is covering all three books, what are you talking about? Season one is the first book.
There is only one season and it has not yet been confirmed for more, so as of now it's covering the first book.
I literally said season one is the first book.
They’re probably saying the current episodes only cover the first book. I think if the show runners get their way they want to cover all 3 books but last time I checked it hasn’t been renewed for a second season yet.
It's big hit for Netflix, it'll get a second season.
Hope so 🤞
Correct. Season one is the first book. That's what I said.
The Chinese series is much much better though. 8 episodes is way too short and its been dumbed down a lot. Plus setting in Oxford??
The Tencent show wasn't great either. Sure, it's very loyal to the first book, but it has no pacing at all. Just a constant slog to watch without any lows or highs. The VR scenes were very cool however.
