IIRC it’s a lemmy problem and it shows up fine on mastodon
I have had the same issue on Beehaw. That a Lemmy fork?
Doesn't even show that there is an image not showing nor (when I write it out) at least offer the alt-text.
When lemmy.world users for example post an image as reply the image doesn't automatically load like when people do such on Kbin, but there's at least a visible link I can click and indeed expand the image. I used to assume it would be the same for them on there end when I replied with images but it isn't, which really sucks—especially when the image conveys that I mean the opposite of any text in the post (e.g. "That's a great idea." [image showing it's a terrible idea])
