Not quite, interestingly enough. Take a gander at the linked video and it's explained very well.
Aw come on I know you're trying to get views, but it's a well known fact the inside of the groove is the left channel, and the outside is the right π€·ββοΈ
Actually, that's not my video, and I have nothing really to do with it, other than finding it really interesting and worth a look. It explains really well how it developed and how it works and why it is the way it is. And while what you said is kinda right, it's not really right in another way, which is explained in the video.
Ok. Guess I'll never know lol
