He actually overdoses his grandparents, but that's just the tip of the iceberg

And I made an Ask Lemmy thread based on those very pills, although I'm not sure anybody recognised the reference

It's an interesting thread but the concept is quite generic, even in the book, it's interesting only in how it's developed, so hardly anybody would make the connection
