Why do you contextualize men with those traits as "alpha" though? Can't they just be guys with those traits?
What is the social utility of dividing men up like that? Is it like an omegaverse thing for guys or what?
We need to use another word besides Alpha. The division that the word "alpha" is associated with is the division between men who are desired by women and men who are not. If you're using the controversial word "alpha" that is what you are talking about. It's like classifying the rich vs the poor. Lemmy users don't want to accept this but most heterosexual men want to be the former in either case, no one wants to be the latter.
Nah I don't think men need to categorize themselves based on some out of touch notion of how fuckable they are, feels pretty objectifying
Then I guess men don't date anymore, lol
Plenty of men date without comparing themselves to other men in a weird hierarchy way
