I am currently using 40g coffee to 500g water which is 12.5g coffee to 1g water but I have seen things like this https://www.olympiacoffee.com/blogs/blog/how-to-brew-like-olympia-coffee#:~:text=For%20those%20of%20you%20who,use%2016.7%20grams%20of%20water. which suggest using a little more. Does it even matter to adjust the ratio precisely if I don't have a precision grinder and am using a Krups blade grinder? I am trying to get things as precise as possible.

Ok, those are big cups. I usually made around 250 to 300ml of coffee. Timemore and 1zpresso have big grinders now, you may want one of those. I bought a C2 a few years ago and even though I have a good electric grinder, the Timemore is miles better and because it doesn't make almost any noise, I can make coffee early in the morning.
In my case, I am the only one at home that drinks coffee so I rarely need more than 25g.

thanks for the rec yeah I like it strong but maybe I should just be brewing less coffee
