Does anyone have experience with OEM vs OEE windshields? Are they really that different to where the price difference ($300 vs $800 in my case) is justified?

I've heard different takes, ranging from "avoid OEE at all costs, it's thinner and shaped differently" to "they're the same glass, just one doesn't have the Subaru print on it".

The only time I ever went OEM was when I had no other option and that was rare. No worries.
