Bluesky is a different protocol.
Yep, Bluesky uses the Authorized Transfer Protocol, so for now, we are safe in not having to block them.
Ooh, did not know that, thanks for catching that. Anyway, they shouldn't be let in as well in case they can bridge between protocols some day.
I'm going out on a limb and saying that you probably saw the assertive/work phrases post and that's why you phrased that that way. I could be completely wrong but that ideology made me chuckle.
What, Bluesky shouldn't be let into the fediverse, or Bluesky shouldn't let Threads in?
I don't see any problem with Bluesky. They've got a decent philosophy and approach, tbh.
No Bluesky in Lemmy I meant. They should and probably be easily let into mastodon. They are not evil definitely, I did not intend to say that. Just that they are doing too much, it feels, feature wise. I may be wrong.
