Probably a limited number of notes actually required and the rest are just inserted for aesthetic reasons. It's possible they're all just props (although if they're acidic, changes in electrical potential upon touch is a reasonable thing).
It’s fake - video timing is off and the synth generates notes that aren’t being played.
Maybe, but it also really wouldn't be hard to make this. The fruit would just work as touch buttons though, connected to a sync. But that's how any modern electronic piano works
Sure but not for the groove he’s supposedly playing.
Have a look at the original. Timing seems right on that. Which notes aren´t played?
