This legitimately happened to my friend. He's a neckbeard who loves Disney and Pixar. As a bit of a prank, his wife told her parents she's dating a "big guy with a beard who's into Cars". Her father restores old cars and was so excited to meet this guy. His disappointment was palpable the first time they met. What a funny prank!
The wife is a keeper for sure! Love it!
That being said, if I pulled that with my partner he'd murder me. We have a different sense of humor.
