Yup this is the way. Been using it for years, the maintainers even do a better job keeping the calendar up to date than the official sources too.
Thanks for that. I've been subscribed to the official f1 ICS calendar on my nextcloud server and have that synced to my calendar, but other racing series don't supply actual times (e.g. the official formula e calendar marks the entire day as "whatever e-prix"), which usually means I can't be bothered to actually watch an event.
The site you provided does show the times, that will make it convenient to follow other racing series, as well...
