Tapping the post form submit button results in an error that says to pick one of the ten communities listed which I guess are those that horizontally scroll under the "community name" form field. So I guess I can only post to those.. not sure why it's limited. It's a bug unless I missed a new setting.

I had to create this post using Jerboa ๐Ÿ˜ž

Connect version 1.0.69. Also applies to 1.0.71.

Basically you need to subscribe to the community you want to post to, and then you see it on the list and can select it

Not sure why having the address is not enough

I am subscribed but still can't post. Tried several times.

But did you scroll sideways to choose the instance to post to, having the adress correct above it is not enough

Yep, even removed the spaces in between the community name. There's two space between before and after @.

Well that is unnecessary

If that's the case then that's a bug too, that's not a requirement in Lemmy. You can post to any community regardless of subscription.

However, I am subscribed to this community. If Connect is incorrectly requiring subscription to post then there's a bug there as well.

I was able to post here via Jerboa after all.

Interesting. I had this same issue posting to this community too. I ended up using another app to post a question about this one!!

I thought I was subscribed but I just noticed I'm not. Maybe I was subscribed from my other instance.

Anyway I'm subscribed now. We'll see how it goes next time I need to create a post.

I was subscribed and it still didn't work, so I don't think this is right
