Destiny is a multiplayer game. It always has been. If you don't want to play with people, this isn't the game to do that in.
I know what you mean, though for many seasons it's been easy enough to do the important stuff without LFG. I'm a solo player myself and if I see the seasonal title requires LFGing, I'm just not gonna get it. This season makes it extra hard because it does a poor job of explaining the pressure trials, so even with the matchmade versions I'm out of luck here. So I play for the story and the exotic missions and that's fine. Saves me time for other games in my backlog and reduces Destiny's FOMO for me.
There is the Solo Enabler, used it myself for a year or so, works perfectly, takes a bit longer to get into the matchmade activity, as it needs time to just give up on finding folk. Also it doesn't change the fact that Destiny is a multiplayer game, I've been successfully using the D2 LFG discord to get through stuff as my mates are online pretty infrequently.
