Fossify Messenger vs. QKSMS (lemmy.ml)

Hi. I wanted to replace my stock SMS app and was wondering which app is likely more suitable for use. Fossify is receiving more development and is more light weight yet most people that I've seen recommend QKSMS as it has more features. Any opinions? Thanks.

So it seems qksms isn't being maintained, but also I've been using it since signal dropped sms support, and it's been zero problems for me
