🔥 "Ivanovets" at the bottom - an enemy missile ship was destroyed as a result of a special operation of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense
✔️ On the night of January 31 to February 1, 2024, soldiers of the special unit "Group 13" of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed the missile ship "Ivanovets" of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
🤝 The operation was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the United24 platform.
👉 An enemy ship was patrolling the Black Sea near Lake Donuzlav near the occupied Crimea.
💥 As a result of a series of direct hits to the hull, the Russian ship suffered damage incompatible with further movement - the "Ivanovets" rolled to the stern and sank.
💰 The value of the ship lost by the aggressor state is approximately $60-70 million.
❗️ The search and rescue operation of the Russian occupiers on the Donuzlav, according to preliminary information, was not successful.

Phalanx CIWS seems like the correct tool for the job. Russia has a similar thing, ~~Kashtan~~ AK-630 CIWS. This boat was fitted with one, but it doesn't seem to be operating. Based on the disrepair of the flagship Moskva and it's CIWS which was not operational, I wouldn't be surprised if this boat's CIWS was also non-functional.
