Is there a pedal like the MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe, but full stereo (inputs too) and expression control over regen (to nosedive in and out of oscillation). I know there's the rubberneck with the instant oscillation footswitch.

The Rubberneck isn't stereo and there is no on-board switch to enable/disable modulation, You need to connect an external footswitch and on DOD's 3-button option 2 of the 3 buttons are redundant with the onboard switches.

There's the Wampler Metaverse which is stereo in/out and can control feedback/regen via expression but apparently it doesn't actually stereo pan the repeats and apparently in spite of being all digital does not support firmware updates. There's the EHX Grand Canyon which doesn't do stereo in. Recommendations?

Apologies if this eventually ends up posting twice. I started off on lemmy.ml, and originally tried to post this here from there, but it hasn't federated. So now that I've moved to this server I'm re-posting here directly.

Have you considered a Boss DD500? It's full stereo and the warp mode lets you blend into and out of infinite repeats by holding the on/off pedal, plus you can assign parameters to an external expression pedal. It has tails too.

Over on the lemmy.studio post someone pointed out Boss has delay pedals too, I'm really liking the RE-202 so far. It has both warp and twist mode, and same expr/ctrl1,2 jack, and no menu screen. I was also able to confirm the Source Audio Collider does have tails, so that's back on the table too.

Yep, my old DD20 does everything you list except there's no external expression pedal support. Cascading in and out of oscillation just by holding the in-built pedal is pretty easy once you get used to it, so that could be a budget friendly option if you're willing to go used.
