How do you tuck a shirt into high waisted trousers/skirt without looking bulky? (lemmy.world)

title says it all. I have a leather midi skirt which i would like to wear with a blouse but tucking in the shirt makes the skirt look bulky.

This is on the extreme end but you could hem the shirt. It'd sacrifice usage for lower waisted items but if your wardrobe is more on the mid- to high-waisted end anyway, you might get more utility out of that shirt.
