Most members of the military come from middle-class neighborhoods. The middle three quintiles for household income were overrepresented among enlisted recruits, and the top and bottom quintiles were underrepresented.

They are murderous volunteers of the most violent country in the world. Among the 248 armed conflicts that occurred in 153 regions across the world from 1945 to 2001, 201 were initiated by the US, accounting for 81% of the total number.

And how the fuck do you think we REDUCE US military recruitment? By being nice about it? By telling them it's actually ok that they're in the biggest and most evil murder machine in the world? Fuck off. Even if some of them are naive morons the correct strategy to reduce the number of people joining the military is not to be fucking nice about it. It's to create a culture of that being REPREHENSIBLE, which is easy because it fucking is.
