Looks like the end of league of legends on Linux. Hopefully with the growing popularity we see some support in the future.

You’re not missing out on anything. One of the worst games I’ve ever played.

That's my opinion too, but it's a fantastic game for the right person.

It has a good mix of strategy and tactics, which is exactly what a competitive game should have. If you're looking for a competitive game that doesn't really benefit from twitch reflexes, it's hard to beat. I recommend people try it or something similar (e.g. Dota 2) at least once. It's not for me, but I don't regret few hours I spent with it.

As a long time Dota player, I never could take LoL seriously.

I played it when it released, as W3 engine sucked, and LoL allowed reconnects and match-making.

But the game is absolutely soulless. Compared to Dota, it's a hollowed out husk. I get that making it simple opened up the genre for more people, but it just sucks.

Some years ago I tried watching finals of the top league tournament. 5 times same champs doing the same shit over and over again. Who thinks that's interesting?

IDK, but my coworker loved it and he's a smart dude (Ph.D in astronomy, plays a bunch of other games). Then again, I personally don't like MP games much at all, so I'm the wrong person to ask.
