If you own a Steam Deck (either OLED or LCD) or have used one in the past, what are your thoughts? Did you find it easy to use? What is your opinion on the "Desktop mode" with KDE? Do you think it helps or hurts Linux adoption? What are your opinions on Steam as a whole and Valve's business practices beyond the technical stuff like Proton.

Maybe unpopular opinion but tbh I have barely reached for my OLED deck since getting it. Battery dies too fast for it to be even remotely convenient. Desktop mode is hot garbage. The device itself is too bulky to comfortably bring it with me anywhere without feeling like a weirdo. I'd take a Vita or 3DS over it for commuting any day. Struggling to see where the deck fits in, unless my PC is down for a while and I have nothing else to do.
