I assume every kid goes through a killer shadow lightning ninja phase. In my late twenties, I was given a new name and my character was more defined.

I associate manga girls with the trans folk, what is an effort to set themselves lofty life goals or who they feel they are [similar to] internally even if the external doesn't represent it well.

Same, same with cartoon animals.
