I wanted to create this community to talk about all things guitar related. New guitar day (NGD), pics of your favorite guitars, questions about playing or repairs, really anything you can think of. As time allows, I'll try to get us started with pics of my guitars, and playing background.

edit: added a pic of my Ernie Ball JP15!

Hmm, that's odd - I can say it wasn't deleted by the mod staff here. I won't profess to fully understand all the fediverse implications yet myself. I do see other posts like you mentioned, including ones from lemmy.ml, but I don't see your post appearing yet either. I'll keep an eye on it though, I'm curious why it isn't showing yet.

edit: Yours is a cross-post from another instance, Perhaps as a test try posting it without the x-post? Just a thought for troubleshooting.

Yeah I wasn't sure about the cross-post bit. Because cross-posting between communities on the same instance is supported natively, but it doesn't let you select a federated community as where you're cross-posting to. So I just manually noted it as a cross-post in the title and linked to the original in the body, then those cross-post links showed up automatically on both posts. Will try it again without the original post linked.

Ok, posted again, https://lemmy.ml/post/1224541, but it still auto-added the x-post links. I guess that's because the URL field in all 3 posts is the same.
