I really enjoyed this show, and was looking forward to having a cute kid friendly series to use to introduce nieces/nephews/future kids/cats to the incredible universe of Star Trek ๐ญ๐ญ
I don't have access to it, but I was so looking forward to a Trek with an actual planned story arc. Plus I'm also young enough to have a sentimental attachment to Voyager despite later figuring out that liking it as an adult means sifting out the good bits among a sea of cringe and wtf. Why can't the Maquis wear clothes that don't look fished out of a swampy dumpster? Why can't they figure out Chakotay (and what fucken tribe he's from)? Why are they so lazy as to always fall back on foiling Tuvok and Neelix? The kid could be annoying but at least we got to see a different, enjoyable side of Neelix.
I have good intentions about writing my own fixfic about Voyager, but I'm already negligent about my writing hobby.
