Please tell me there's an option to have no combat.

Mandatory required combat would completely wreck this game for me.

I'm hoping when the FAQ says "You can choose whether to enable the Dark Fog when starting the game." that means I can continue to play non-combat versions of the game in perpetuity but it's not particularly clear.

Sometimes I enjoy playing games to relax. It would suck if that option were completely removed from this one.

Yes there are lower settings for it, Devs said they didn't want to exclude people who didn't want combat. They also won't appear in an existing game.

Good news! You can just disable the combat. There's some good QOL updates too. But nothing appears broken.
