Do you change them as needed? Or have a spare Wheelset or something?
Doesn't snow a lot here, so I usually just wing it on normal tyres the few days it happens. But I ain't getting younger. Current idea would be to get a second set of wheels (rear just a singlespeed) that fits my commuter bike and just having the spike tyres on there permanently
Yeah I just change them as needed (a spare rear wheel is pretty expensive when the wheel has a big motor in the center of it), but I also live somewhere where "as needed" works out to be: put them on in november/december, and then take them off in like, april, so I'm not swapping on the fly
Maybe it's because nobody wants them in 26"x2" size but apparently they're on sale for like $65/tire rn. even cheaper than I got them at my local bike shop last year
