Drive mode selection on the ceiling of the vehicle. That’s definitely a choice.
A terrible one… it won’t take long for there to be a few articles relating people crashing into the person behind them accidentally and stuff
I like it, feels like my Elite Dangerous spaceship or something. Also, it’s just in case of emergency on a Tesla.
This is just failsafe so you can still drive if the screen is unavailable. Drive mode selection is automatic and you can also select it on the screen. For the record, I also think it's dumb to put it there, but let's get the facts straight.
yeah most cars I've driven have that knob/button right next to the screen. Not sure why this is a "failsafe".
It's there so that if the Infotainment system faults you can still move the vehicle around safely
True. Just saying it’s weird. Although just about every part of this thing is weird.
