I don't think the community is dead, it's just that the game was working really, really well on Linux (and I guess even on windows) these past few patches
Nobody comes here or the official subreddit to celebrate this very often because we know things such as this can happen out of nowhere
But if there's one thing that brings communities together very quickly, it's things going wrong; And here we all are!
Really quick edit because I forgot to talk about it: yeah, the website does need more work and maybe a few more helping hands; We should make a thread here to talk about it
Here we all are? The game is completely broken and that amounts to, what, 25-30 comments across a whopping 2 threads? The community has clearly taken a mortal blow, and everyone sees exactly why that is. The platform shouldn't belong to the mods, it should be something that the mods are there to protect for the sake of its users. Instead they have used it to wage their own holy wars at the cost of the community. To quote Shrek (2001):
LOL. How dramatic.
Dude, WHY are you so devoted to reddit? It is not the mods own problem, it is everyones problem. The internet is becoming everyday more walled and worst for everyone because people give away their freedom to be in sites like reddit, instagram, twitter.
I'm not devoted to reddit at all. It's the mods who are so devoted to reddit, that they will happily cripple an entire community just to make a statement about some business decisions made on that platform. How can you not see that?
