It's a public platform, attacks whether by white hat hackers or those with ill intend are to be expected.
It should be double checked whether this can cause a buffer overflow, otherwise it's just a little annoying.
Abusing the system to flood the “trending communities” with pure bullshit is a bit more than a “little” annoying.
